Lookart turns empty spaces into temporary galleries. Landlords, brokers, storekeepers, and organizations allow us to fill their vacant commercial spaces with art created by local artists. Most do so to support their community, but there are commercial benefits as well.
Benefits to you
Lookart exhibitions will help you find new tenants by making your space more attractive increasing foot traffic discouraging vandalism contributing to the appeal of your community allowing visitors to link directly to your real estate listing.
Secure, low-risk
Lookart exhibitions are staged in your display windows and visitors view the art from the sidewalk. Once the exhibition has been installed only you and the exhibit curator will have access to your space. The exhibit curator will be present during the scheduled exhibit installation and removal. Lookart carries general liability insurance for those limited access days. Artist sign a waiver for any loss or damage to their artwork while in your space.
No permanent alterations
We will clean windows and vacuum dust, but will not permanently alter your space. We use portable display units, suction cups, and other non-invasive methods to hang artwork. We will submit a written request in the unlikely event we would like to do some minor painting, nailing, etc.
